With both sides challenging for runners-up spot and the Chickens coming to the Moor on the back of a 7 match winning streak in the league Borough knew they were in for a battle, and although the home side will feel they had the best of the chances, either side could have snatched victory as the game opened up in the second half.......Report & Photos

0205/09 - Sturminster Newton 2, Poole Borough 3. - Match Report
Borough came away from Barnetts Field with the three points required to keep their hopes of securing runners up position in their own hands, but they certainly did it the hard way after going a goal down from the penalty spot and having to play the final hour with 10 men after captain Ross Mills was sent off for a deliberate handball in the area, they twice fought back to secure the lead before the points were finally theirs...........Report & Photos

Borough went to top of the table, after completing a sensational double against long term league leaders Hurn Jets. Despite coming under severe pressure in the closing quarter of the game, Borough’s defence and goalkeeper Carl Dominey performed heroically to hold firm and keep the first clean sheet against Hurn Jets this season, and it was once again Jamie Williams who was the goalscoring hero, as he came off the bench to fire home the all important winner......... report
