Stourpaine (1) 2, Poole Borough (6) 8. Dorset Premier League Saturday 11th February 2006 Borough Scorers: Wassim Elhuadhi 3 (1 Pen), Alex Jones, Sean Hebdon, OG, David Perry (Pen), Lee Thomas Borough gained revenge for their home defeat to Stourpaine in October with an emphatic 8-2 away win in which striker Wassim Elhuadhi scored a hat-trick. Stourpaine took the lead after 5 minutes when Borough lost the ball and Dylan Hooper slotted past Amey, but Borough took only a minute to level when David Perry's strike was parried by Ackerman in the Stourpaine goal and the ball fell to Elhuadhi who put the ball into the unguarded net. Ackerman gifted Borough a goal on 9 minutes when he took a free-kick outside his area but only found Alex Jones, who shot over the stranded keeper into the net from 35 yards. On 17 minutes an excellent corner from Jones came to the unmarked Sean Hebdon at the far post and the defender volleyed home. Borough were now running the game and Ackerman came to the rescue of Stourpaine with several blocks and saves. Another fine corner from Jones was headed into his own net by a Stourpaine defender under pressure from Leaton and Perry, and then a handball in the area from a Jones cross gave Perry the chance to make it 5-1 from the spot. On the stroke of half-time Elhuadhi weaved through the defence and hit a low shot past Ackerman to make the score 6-1 to Borough. Half Time 1-6 The half-time break upset Borough's rhythm and Stourpaine had the better of the early chances and ex-Borough player Lee Symes headed a corner onto the bar. Borough brought on Lee Thomas for Perry after 58 minutes and the young striker almost scored with his first touch, but after being put through by a Neville pass his shot hit Ackerman's legs. Thomas then set up Elhuadhi but he side-footed the ball just past the post. Stourpaine scored midway through the half when a corner was headed in by Revell, but Borough came back straight from the restart when Thomas was again put through, and this time made no mistake as he shot past the keeper. On 84 minutes Thomas made a determined run down the left and managed to get in a cross which was met by Jones whose effort hit an arm in the box and the referee awarded another penalty. Elhuadhi stepped up to score and complete his deserved hat-trick. On the final whistle a superb cross-field pass from Hebdon landed at the feet of Elhuadhi, but his shot just cleared the bar.
